Group Market allows employers to directly request, compare and purchase the group insurance solutions for their organisation.
The process is user-friendly and is designed to be utilised by employer, significantly saving time and costs without additional administrative requirements.

Group Market allows organisations to directly request and source group insurance terms from insurers, compare the terms provided and install the selected group insurance policy.
Upon commencement of the policy, Group Market will manage the ongoing administration of the group insurance plan.
Group Market allows clients to access terms for 2 policy types:
1. Group Life cover (GL), available with or without optional TPD cover, and/or
2. Group Income Protection cover (GIP), available with or without optional trauma cover.
Clients can implement either a GL policy, a GIP policy or both.
The following will be required to complete a request for group insurance terms:
1. Selecting the type of cover and level of cover from the Group Market dashboard.
2. Provide employee details in Excel format, including Occupation, Gender, Salary and Date of Birth of each employee.
3. Provide details of claims where applicable.
4. Approximately 15-30 minutes to complete Group Market dashboard.
5. Payment of $799.
Group insurance terms can generally only be provided for:
1. organisations that directly employ their employees, and
2. the insurance is provided on a compulsory basis for all eligible employees, and
3. there is a minimum of at least 20 eligible employees.
Group insurance terms are generally not provided for:
1. Associations, or
2. Franchises, or
3. where insurance cover is only provided on a voluntary basis, or
4. where insurance cover is held within the Superannuation environment, or
5. where occupations are deemed hazardous at the discretion of the insurer, or
6. where the requested terms are outside of the insurer's requirements.
Each participating insurer will prepare the requested terms independently and in accordance with their pricing methodology, risk appetite and due diligence.
Some insurers may prefer to not provide terms due to the risk profile of a client and/or type of insurance requested.
The terms provided by each participating insurer are provided to the client in a consolidated summary.
Group Market will charge the client a one-off fee of $799 to provide a consolidated summary of all responses received by participating insurers.
The cost will be fully reimbursed to the client should the client install the plan via Group Market and have the plan administered by Group Market for a minimum of 12 months.
An on-going policy management fee of X.X% per annum is applied to the premium cost.
Group Market clients are fully administered by Australia's largest third-party administrator (TPA), XXX.
The service will support all administrative requirements of group insurance plans, including but not limited to:
Installation of the group insurance plan,
On-going management of the group installation plan,
Facilitation of underwriting process,
Processing of claim applications,
Completion of Annual Reviews and Renewals.
